The pictures show my plot after I hand cleared it in order to keep my big trees, and I lived there in 2017-2018. The plot is valued at R397 000 and it holds a lot of surprises. When you clear it, make sure you go slow so you can keep the big trees. You will also find R50 000 worth of huge granite block stones, as shown in the pictures, not all of them uncovered yet. You will also find R55 000 worth of new building supplies that have lain covered under the vegetation since June 2024. They are up on the flat top bit of the plot, the ideal spot for the house. About 40 lengths of timber, aluminium windows, water tanks, a canoe, a generator, 2 rolls of 30m fencing, a Kenso glass sliding door, aluzinc roof sheeting and various other bits and pieces. This plot is on the edge of town, quiet and peaceful, no near neighbours and selling for a steal.
The plot does look a bit messy but it is easily cleaned up and cleared for a few thousand rand.
The plot is flat on the top and slopes down to the road. The commonage opposite is huge, on the right is a similar sized plot, also not yet developed presently being sold for R395 000 and on the left side is a 1 ha commonage with a donga running through it. The donga ends at the bottom of my plot, this gives you a little river on your border in summer, running along the road, the river runs under the road and into the commonage opposite. On the top left hand corner of the plot is a small cane field, giving you a never ending supply of building materials.
There is council water but no eskom connection yet.

When coming into town, turn right straight after the first speed bump, in front of the stone house. Follow the grass road down the hill to the dip, the plot is on the left. It is open for anyone who would like to view it, it is a bit of a rubbish tip at the moment, but a hired local tractor will clear most of the plot in a few hours and the rubbish can be taken to the local dump.
