The developer built this one for himself, and it shows. A serious seller
will now consider offers on this exquisite Hyde Park residence: 455m2 of
dark, contemporary luxury excluding the roof terrace on a landscaped
420m2 stand, crowned by a 150m2 rooftop entertainment level few homes in
Johannesburg can answer.
THE ROOFTOP
One wing holds a private gym, sauna, shower and terrace. The other reveals
a feature bar, firepit, raised jacuzzi and astroturfed deck. Sunset belongs
to you.
THE HOME
A dramatic double-volume entrance with statement chandelier and floating
staircase sets the tone. The open-plan lounge and dining room flow to a
vast covered patio with braai area, and the landscaped garden has space for
a plunge pool. The chef''s kitchen carries engineered stone counters,
Siemens appliances, a generous scullery and separate drying yard, with a
full staff suite behind it.
Upstairs, a pyjama lounge opens to an airy terrace, and three bedroom
suites each claim their own balcony. The master commands views toward
Illovo with a walk-in dressing room and spa-like bathroom the second and
third bedrooms offer distinctive bathrooms, one with a skylight shower and
mood-lit finishes.
THE SECURITY
A boomed enclosure with 247 guarded access and patrol vehicles, then a
second layer: manned guardhouse and strict access control at the complex
itself.
A no-expense-spared home, a motivated seller, and a rooftop with no equal
at this price. View it this week.
