BEACH LIFE: This area is famous for its year-round warm tropical climate. Temperatures normally range between 16-25 C in winter and 18-30 C in summer. WHALES AND DOLPHINS: Whales can be seed offshore October and November. This area is know as the Dolphin Coast and pods of dolphins can be seen. If you are a Surfer you may often meet up with dolphins. The beaches are protected by shark nets and sharks are not an issue. SURFING: There are a number of great surf spots within 3-4km: Pillars Beach, Tiffanys Beach and Salt Rock Beach.
